experiments with light

My VJ set at the live DJ experience, Limbic Resonance earlier this year, is a visual feast of colour, shape and form. Played live to complement the DJ and respond to the music. I run Processing sketches using Syphon to pull them into Resolume where my software connects with the host for projection. This show was backlit onto angled screens behind the DJ booth.

-20 Degrees 2019

-20 Degrees 2019, is an unpublished collaborative project with Peter Ikona, a 5 minute techno journey. A music video to accompany his original track -20 Degrees. Made with Processing sketches, mixed live and recorded for screen.

Microprocess 2019. The second in a series of psuedo-scientific collaborative exhibitions with Astrid Visser. Investigating the 'gills of the earth', the art explores the single cell silica micro-organisim, the diatom. Made from laser cut and etched acrylic, acrylic rod, LED's and arduino.

Microcosmic 2017, the first in a series of collaborative exhibitions with Astrid Visser, a pseudo-scientific exploration of the brain. "Neural Transmission" takes a close up view of how messages are passed between synapses. Made from fiber-optics, LED's, arduino, silicon, and metal.
